The Nelson family, seven generations strong, homesteaded in South Central Nebraska in 1881. Mark and his wife, Jodi, remain on their family farm today. They instilled in their children the importance of faith, family and to understand that success takes hard work and dedication.
Mark is involved in his church, Westmark, where serves as an elder. He values the various aspects of agriculture production, including farming and custom cattle feeding. Their sons, Jake and Tanner, joined the family operation in 2013 and 2021.

Jake Nelson graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2013. Jake and his wife, Joslyn, then moved home to join the family operation. They love raising their four children, Hakon, Rorik, Malia and Merick, on the farm and are thankful for the opportunity to raise their children with the same values and work ethics they were taught as children. In their spare time, they enjoy spending time with friends from church.

Tanner Nelson Tanner and his wife, Shelby, joined the operation in 2021. In addition to farming and custom cattle feeding, Tanner works for Invest Nebraska to build the next generation of leaders in the state. Shelby works as an attorney at DeWald Deaver L'Heureux law firm in Holdrege.
True to family traditions, they enjoy the outdoors and caring for the animals and livestock God bestowed upon the earth.
